All-white kitchen with hints of blackAll-white kitchens seem to never go out of style! They are slick, bright and airy, and suit almost any kitchen! However, whilst all-white may look great, some people just need that little bit of colour to brighten up the space. Kitchen Depot are sharing some home decorating tips on how to style your all-white kitchen with a splash of colour.

Adding Colour to Your All-white Kitchen

Here are 5 ways that you can add a splash of colour to your all-white kitchen. Visit our blog for more tips on how to improve your kitchen.

1. Change Up Your Countertops

If you are wanting one solid contrast between all the white, try adding your splash of colour on your countertops. Getting marble countertops, stainless steel, concrete or granite will add that break in white that will give your kitchen more dimension.

2. Add Upholstered Chairs

If you have a centre island or breakfast table in your kitchen, add your colour using the chairs or barstools. Get coloured upholstery or paint the chairs a solid colour for an eye-catching colour pop.

3. Indoor Plants

This is a great natural way to add a splash of colour without disrupting your all-white plan too much. Indoor plants and vases of flowers are a great way to add some colour to an other-wise neutral kitchen. Add some bright florals or more natural greens.

4. Pendant Lights

If you are happy with the layout of your kitchen, but would like a small splash of colour, light pendants are a great way to do this. Whilst the majority of the kitchen is white, your eyes will be diverted up to the pendants- this is especially beneficial for small kitchen spaces.

5. Coloured Backsplash

This is a great way to add colour to your kitchen in a more subtle way. You can of course be bold with an eye-catching colour, or keep it subtle with a light pastel shade that you love.
